On July 7, 2026, in Beijing, the representative of DAP Technologies visited the Embassy of Malaysia and held in-depth discussions with Economic Minister Unny Sankar Ravi Sankar and First Secretary Muanati Afzan of the Economic Section on international cooperation in low-altitude economy and intelligent robotics industrial chains. The DAP representative highlighted its global supply chain solutions in aviation/eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) and robotics. They elaborated on how DAP leverages the resource advantages of DAP Global Business and DAP Supply Chains to assist high-quality Chinese enterprises—including eVTOL manufacturers and upstream/downstream supply chain companies—in expanding globally, using Malaysia as a strategic hub to access the broader ASEAN market. Malaysian officials expressed strong recognition for DAP’s proposals. Minister Sankar noted that Malaysia offers significant advantages in land availability, tax incentives, and labor costs, and warmly welcomed mature, innovative Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in the country. Both sides also conducted detailed discussions on legal frameworks and regulatory systems related to low-altitude economy in China and Malaysia, including certification processes such as TC, PC, OC, and VTC.
This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding in the low-altitude economy sector but also laid a solid foundation for future business expansion of DAP Engineering and DAP Insights in the ASEAN region.
